I started my journey in the entertainment industry as a TV presenter at the age of 16. However, I soon realised that being in the spotlight wasn't for me, prompting me to transition behind the camera.

 

Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with major Hollywood studios such as Warner Bros, Universal, FOX, and Paramount, among others.

Taking a break from the film industry, I pursued my passion for travel, working as a digital nomad primarily in marketing for surf camps around the world.

​

During the lockdown, I launched The Virtual Assistant Experience, aiming to showcase my skills online remotely to generate income.

 

A year later, the business received recognition at The National Start-Up Awards as the Rising Star of 2022 and also won the Best Boutique Creative Agency at the British Made Awards. This success led to the evolution of the business into a full-fledged creative agency, now known as The VAE.

After producing a show in 2021 and realising that the media industry still needed to pro actively evolve - I initiated a campaign called AND ACTION CYMRU! which was supported by organisations such as ScreenSkills, Screen Alliance Wales and DWP.

​

From there I was approached by ScreenSkills to Project manage their First Break programme in North Wales on House of the Dragon S2, which included outreach to under represented communities to help people get a foot in the door within the industry to help the sector become more accessible and inclusive. 

​

I was then asked by Warner Bros if I would undertake the role of the Wales Consultant and manage all the programmes between the production, Warner/ HBO and Welsh Government. 

We created over 300 opportunities in North Wales in the summer of 2023.

Currently I am representing ScreenSkills as their Regional Engagement Consultant for the North of England - which involves visiting HETV sets and speaking with the production teams about the future of the industry and how ScreenSkills can use the HETV fund beneficially. I also gain honest feedback from programme participants and report the information back to the organisation. 

​

I am also undertaking the role of a Lead Creative Practitioner for Arts Council Wales and delivering a hybrid creative project for a school in N.East Wales - in the curriculums bid to secure more creative learning within schools. 

​

I have also been approached by numerous production companies for consulting, organisations for publics speaking and numerous students for mentoring and training opportunities.
